yep...just read it. I think I am just too old for this stuff. 1000HP launch control?.... I have had launch control on a variety of cars from Porsche and BMW, and have never used the thing once. I did try it on a couple of cars at Porsche demo events. Works brilliantly if you want to tear the tires off but for the life of me I cannot understand what it is for. I have driven the current Taycan Turbo S and had it for a week. I can say that it is brilliantly fast, great roadholding, and for me personally not a car I really want.

I expect that those younger people who get into EVS early will have a very different attitude which is fair enough, but a 1000hp Taycan is not really something that excites me.

What is the point of having a saloon without back seats?

Beats me, but of course I have a 911 with no frunk or back seats. Would be good if you had a very fast dog I suppose...lots of space.

That is what happens when the marketing department takes over.

Well, they once had the Turbo Look option.....with some good synthesized sound they can add back some interior excitement, and call it the TurboSound.........
