OT: Selling a Rolex privately?
I know a number of you are big time watch guys, so I thought I would ask where you guys sell your watches? I have a SS white ceramic Daytona that I bought new in 2018 from Raffi’s. To be honest, I have barely worn it (it sits in a safety deposit box at the bank). I’m just not comfortable walking around wearing it now that they are so expensive. At the peak they were well over $60k, but they appear to be $40k-$45k now, so I’m thinking about selling. I guess I’m just not “baller” enough to pull off a Daytona

I'd put it on Kijiji and only meet potential buyers after dark, make sure to take your Macan to set them at ease about your intentions...

Post it on chrono24. I'm in the market for a black one, but waiting on prices to come down a bit, black is going for $28-30kish.

Assuming that's you asking values for ceramic Daytonas on CWC? Just list it there for sale.

Yes, just posted. I’m not 100% sure that I want to sell it. Also, I’m seeing those asking prices but have no idea if that’s what they are actually selling for. Kinda like used Porsche prices 😜

Just found 2 black ones that sold for $36k-$37k on CWC in the past few months, so $40k looks to be about right. I had no idea that the MSRP increased $5k since 2018. I stopped watching Rolexes when the games got stupid.

I suggest reaching out to Harry Panchal at Harrison's Brilliance (https://www.instagram.com/harrisons_brilliance/). I sold a couple watches through him and it was a smooth process - and extremely reasonable on his fees.

One I see in Toronto is Cassidy Watches, could try them.
Otherwise any of the US ones could also be worthwhile. Bobs, Hodinkee. Rolex does certified pre-owned, not sure if ADs here participate.
