Default Looking for Porsche 996 3.4 engine in Canada

try Randy whaletail in Kitchener, if he doesnt have one, he might now where you can get one.

You going to Carlisle on Saturday ? might be worth the drive down to see what you can score.

Never know what you are going to find down there.

what was the failure? usually the 3.4 doesn't fail.

you mean other than D-chunks, head cracks causing intermix and IMS single row bearing failures ? or am i thinking of a different 3.4 ?

usually cracks from the spark plug hole to the valve seat, intermixes , and engine is done !

im pretty sure thats how LN engineering started out .

Don't forget bore scoring.....

I wanted a 996, I really did. I got a little scared went for a 987.2 instead. It's not that things can go wrong, is that each thing that goes wrong results in needing a new engine.
