GTG in the GTA 10am every Saturday rain or shine
Reposting this as a new thread:
Making it official: Get together at Chapter's/Starbucks across from Sherway Gardens Mall on the Queensway between Hwy 427 & The West Mall.
Every Saturday at 10:00 am this location for an informal get together. I realize that with vacations, track days, etc... it won't be possible for everyone to show up all the time, but the idea is that you can pop by for 2 minutes or 2 hours. Coffee, mags all available and if those present decide to go for a drive or lunch, we can take off from there. FYI: we gather in the parking lot behind the Chapter's/Starbucks; less visible from the street, but also less possiblities of clapped out minivans/SUVs/pickups and other assorted POS's sidding up to your car.Map: http://www.starbucks.com/store/1323
The winter location is Artisano's Bakery and Café located at the corner of Islington and Titan.

The GTG is held at our summer location from the first Saturday in April to the last Saturday in October when it then moves to the winter location. Always check this thread for updates.

We will return to our winter location on Saturday November 2nd and return to our summer the first Saturday of April (5th) 2014.
The winter location is Artisano's Bakery and Café located at the corner of Islington and Titan.

There is plenty of parking, great coffee and food and lots of seating inside.

I think the forensics will show it as a truly collaborative effort. I might have posted the first query, or taken the lead at one point - it's more like one of those "web community" warm and fuzzy moments. I'm just happy it happening, no need for compensation to me.
But AM993 and Pongobaz have surely taken the lead since we first suggested the idea - so if anyone deserves some SWAG - I'd nominate them.
There may be others though.

Well, I suggest that Pongobaz gets the carbon ring set. He has been the most persitent at setting-up the get togethers and found the better location. Plus I am sure that the carbon rings will fit his car nicely!

I look forward to meeting some new faces. For those of you who havn't met me, just keep an eye out for the obnoxiously loud car (angry grandpas out for a sunday stroll are usually shaking canes and yelling so that should help single me out) and carbon fiber hood.

Gee schucks guys, I feel so honoured to be nominated like that...I haven't even prepared an acceptance speech! Thank-you for the swag offer Omar, but I do have aluminum rings installed already. Kinda the problem with my car is that there isn't much to add to it, but maybe there is some other swag you can cut me a deal on? (maybe I need a 2nd p-car to mod) 
Bring samples! AM993 and Rally Guy share the honours too, so I don't mind sharing the spoils of war with them. Looking forward to seeing you all on Sat...just got to get back from Calgary first!
