Itching for another drive. Sun Aug 28 1pm-4pm
After I get back from NY was wondering if anyone would be interested in another drive (The Sept Barrie drive is too long ways away)
Eat lunch first and then go straight into the drive. Leave 1pm sharp. There will be no dinner stop at the end.
We will stop at the same Pizzaria in the end so feel free to grab chow after.
Same route as this one but doing a detour through Acton to go around the construction prior to Terra Cotta.

Personally I dont run with groups i dont know/ trust
No offense but it only takes one moron ti ruin everyones day . With some good feedback may be a posibility for next year though.

I'd like to thank Saturn for putting on an excellent event yesterday. The route was well planned out, and he kept everyone in a group at all times. Safety and fun was emphasized at the driver's meeting at the start and a full set of maps and written directions were given.
I had my wife and dog with me and we hed a great time. The roads and scenery were great. I have driven through these areas several times but this drive opened up new roads and sights and we will definitely return.
I'm looking forward to the next event that Saturn organizes. I think that more of our group should participate next time.
Thanks Saturn. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys. The drive was definitely awesome.
The drives I organize:
Drives 2.5 hrs - 6 hrs.
Detailed Google maps are provided including all turns
Pre-emtive talk on safety and following all traffic rules and regulations
Walk through of maps
Some spirited fun in between when safe (each driver is responsible for their actions)
Leave on time at Start
Depending on distance 2-3 stops.
All stops have address so that if group splits they can rendezvous at stop points (GPS needed)
1 of the stops in between has gas and washroom
End stop has food
Pictures back to forums.

You guys shouldn't have stopped like that at the Badlands. Two weeks ago I was driving by for work and got flagged by soem tourists. A car crested the hill at a high rate of speed, lost control and side swiped a parked Toyota (right where that large SUV is in the last pic), then kep on going without stopping. The entire felt side of the car was gone and both tires were popped. There is a really good reason why that area is signes well for no parking on the shoulder. They were very lucky that no one was at the car when this happened. It happened 30 sec before I was passing by. Keep it safe guys.
