A buddy of mine is getting married and would like to drive something awesome for his wedding next year, any ideas of where he could rent some expensive and fun?

What about a 86 951 Guards red - Forever possessed - 1987-Present?

Was it GTA Exotics who was renting kit cars last year, or am I confusing that with a place in California?

I gotta say, I really wanted to rent a sweet car (Porsche Turbo, etc) for the
weekend of my wedding last November. The idea was scrapped in the earlier
planning stages just for logistic reasons...but, looking back now, I would've had
ZERO time to drive it that whole weekend anyway. Weddings and the days around
them are BUSY!!! It would've been a total waste to have it parked for $500+/day.
Also if you google GTA Exotics, there are a bunch of wack stories floating around..

He needs to go there BEFORE the wedding. Is there not a movie with that theme ????
Anyways, lots to rent there.How much $ do you want to spend to go fast ?
Get it out in the Mojave on I-15 point it towards LA and PLANK IT.

I've heard a lot of sad stories from those I know who've rented from GTA Exotics... IMHO

I dunno if they still do it, but when I got married in 2003, I rented a 996 cab from Budget near Yonge and Bloor area if I'm not mistaken. They had a few cars at the time to choose from (no Lambo's , Ferrari's though).

There is a group in Oakville, you can see their sign from the south side of the QEW by the old GE building. I see the group of their cars every once in awhile driving up or down 9th line in the FORD plant area. Trouble is, they have two guys on motorcycles front and back leading them all at what looks to be the speed limit. I know one time I couldn't help myself and where ninth line has a center lane... well I passed the whole group in one shot. You should have seen the front moto guy's eyes bug out! I guess he thought it was one of his cars as one of the cars was a silver C4S putt putting along trapped between a Viper and a 340 and I guess for a split second he thought the guy must have gone nut's on him as my silver 996 shot past him. Pitiful waste of your money to be treated to the motorcycle storm trooper treatment after spending big bucks.

Meanwhile, in late April, I'll be blasting along the Autobann's of Germany and Austria in a 991 for 10 days...

(No new marriage involved - same old one)

jasonlp - I suggest you search the forum (and web) before considering using GTA exotics - I know some people with very poor experiences ...
