Yorkville Exotic Car Show - 2012

Looks like the event is scheduled to start a little later than last year (by about 2 hours) so would assume that the staging may likely follow a similar later start (which should give you some time to get the bug splatter removed in the morning) - I'll bring a few extra microfibers and no water wash to give you a hand if you require.

Phil -
May I suggest you also have a few Donation Booths prominently displayed along the Red Carpet area.
Last year when I displayed my car, most people who I spoke to had no clue what the show was about or where they could donate to the cause. Especially later in the afternoon, as the foot traffic increased (from people that had just stumbled across the show) could of netted many more donations for the good cause.
Just a thought - Good luck with the show this year!

Prostate Cancer Canada will have a tent right in front of the Paddock Club and that area will be a big draw especially with the Enzo and CGT parked right there. They will be accepting donations from spectators.

You do a great job with this great show Phil. Good that Prostate Cancer Canada will have a tent. I think issue is ensuring people know that the whole show is charity for that cause. They likely are one booth of many things to see. Hopefully some messaging like "Enjoying the show? Donate!" will be present around the show. To many, this is no joking matter.

Volunteers Needed for Staging Help!
Hi All, Porsche will be very well represented at the 3rd annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show, this coming Father's Day, Sunday, June 17, 2012 from noon to 5pm. There are twice as many Porsches registered than any other marque. Porsche Cars Canada is a Gold sponsor and DFC will be selling PDDS swag and even "Butzi's" Porsche Design of Toronto is a Silver Sponsor.
We could use some Rennlist help between 10am and 11:30 - the first 90 minutes to help stage the cars in the right sections and in the right order. Staging Captains have radios and "roll-in" instructions and we just need some experienced hands to direct cars into the right position, (correct angle, lined up nicely, 1 meter apart, etc.). Then you're basically done for the day and you can join us in the Paddock Club for some free-bee snacks and i'll even throw in an event T-shirt.
Please email myself Phil.Downe@ITnegotiations.com and David Elsner at David.Elsner@DHEconsulting.net if you are available to give us a hand and help us support Prostate Cancer Canada.
Cheers,
