already registered on day one. Looking forward to spending the day with my Dad (a prostate cancer survivor by the way) and other folks who are passionate, interested, or even just slightly curious about some of the very nice examples of automotive marques that this venue offers.

I have not received any emails either. If I do get in the show, can anyone recommend a good detailer close to Scarborough to remove all the bugs from a 2000 km commute.

Yorkville Car Show Registrations
Hi Everyone, to date we have 115 cars registered and we're growing daily.
Watch for the Global TV ads starting today at 6PM and the print ads in the subway and local papers.
Sorry about the lack of confirmation email. We'll improve on that next year. We post the cars to the website, usually within 48 hours of receiving the registration, so if you see your car among the "Cars in the Show" pictures, then you are registered and Sponsored. If you see your car on the "Sponsor a Car" page, it means you are in the show, but have no sponsor yet.
Keep in mind that it is a charity first and please, no more Zookie jokes and for $100.00 you can sponsor your own car, get two free Paddock Club passes, a $60.00 value, plus you get a tax receipt for the full $100.00 and recognition as a sponsor at both the event on the ID plate and on the website for one year.
The "Roll-in" instructions are scheduled to go out a week (say 7 to 10 days) prior to the event. That will tell you when to arrive, what section you are in, where you will pre-stage with your group, who your section Captain will be, and when advised you will stage your car and receive an envelope with the days schedule and your Paddock Club passes.
I'll see about sending out a test email to all registered drivers over the next week, then you can bug your fellow Rennlisters and encourage them to register their cars for the show.
Cheers,

Doubt if you'll find anything on a Sunday. If you want a good hand wash there is one right near the venue on Bloor Street in the ManuLife centre parking. THey are inexpensive and very good for a proper clean. They will also detail the car. Open Saturday but not Sunday.
