I thought 959 was never road legal for North America.

If its road legal, it must have been in parts and re-assembled as a "Kit Car"

But if it's a heritage car because of its age maybe it will be street legal?

Maybe it is registered as historic??...not sure what constitute a car as historic but I have seen cars (particularly a classic Citroen with no roof nor A-Pillars, the windshield drops forward like the old WW2 jeeps and they have only seat belts that go on your lap) that are plated historic with little to no restraints on them.
