If you are in the market, and willing to buy private for similar car and colour but less km's and price with impeccable car care and documentation of service, then pm or email me.
That may answer the question

Thanks. That's what I thought. My buddy is a salesman there and introduced me to the used car manager, John. He offered me a few extras (snow tires, oil change etc) but wouldn't move very much on the price. I walked away.

I have been checking out other Porsche dealers and it seems that, actually, compared to what is out there, this isn't a bad deal for a certified car. Maybe I should pull the trigger. Or do you all think it's a bad deal?

I wouldn't touch anything with a m96/m97 pre 2009.

I say go south of the border as there is so much more selection.
Check out the government site:

Have a look at the local favourite shipping company.

It's not difficult to import one.

Thanks! Any site you can recommend for actually buying the car?

The sales manager obviously thinks that you are a buyer and will exploit that fact. If you like that car then make them an offer that you feel comfortable with, not what the sales manager dictates.

I don't know this model well but I recommend you post your question in Cayman section of the forum. There will be plenty of suggestions there for places to buy from as well as mechanics for doing a PPI. Best of luck but most importantly take your time and have fun.
