The garage walls are waterproofed and tiled to 6 feet high. The floor is epoxy with a drain (and radiant heat). Think of it like a huge shower (which, effectively, it is). It allows me to wash the car indoors in the winter. The Porsche is on a regular 4 post lift. I think it looks funny because it was taken at night with a blackberry.

Love it! I would live to see some more pics from different angles to see the details you describe if you would be so kind. Sounds like the ultimate man cave dream!!

I should have taken a pix of my brother-in-law's early 2000 Boxster, it has been winter/spring/summer/fall/winter/spring/summer/fall storage for two years straight now, don't think the car has even been started or moved once during that time, I wonder if the tires are flat-spotted or dry rotted now......

And it only has 17,000 miles on the odometer!

I'll take and post some photos when I'm home during daylight hours on the weekend. It's well constructed but not really an exotic man-cave. My wife insisted on our house having silly things like a front hall closet and living room which ate away at the space available for the garage - there's not much space for anything other than cars. I have some Porsche banners that I'll hang above when I get some time.

Put 928 away last week, can't wait till there's a nice day to stir the oils. Missing it already.

I knew I recognized that garage.
Motor out again.
You have exactly the same 2 jacks I do.
What's the plan this time?

Not so much a storage pic - just a garage pic - a very VERY low garage with an annoying steel beam running through the middle of it and often trying to run into my forehead!! What I'd give to have a garage that I could put a lift in...

Took the GT out for a run last night! So much fun. Mine only sleeps when I am not driving it. Or snow on the road. Too many idiots don't know how to drive in the snow. That's why I have the sacrificial Touareg...

Blasphemy! lol. It is a shame when a car is ruined from NOT driving it. Although two years is not that bad. What is the back story? Or should we just be shaming him?

I intend to do something similar when I build my garage. separate bay with waterproof walls and floor drain. For exactly that purpose.

He's been busy on his overseas business venture, so really no time to get the car back on the road, as lame as it sounds. He's not on Rennlist anyway.

My idea of storage. Also being -10 outside and a warm +13 inside allows me to detail them during the winter.

I'm sue many would like to see what we're all doing with our man caves.
Here's my man cave. Place to sit back on the couch and play shooter games or go sit and race with the steering wheel and pedals. Dedicated gaming PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
