help me decide: lambo, ferrari or porsche as daily driver
Help me decide: lambo gallardo, ferrarri 360 or porsche 996, 997 as daily driver
been driving up to 400hp 4 wheel drive for years now as daily driver, looking to go to next level
lambo gallardo: looks cool but worried about reliability as a daily driver, also only 2 seater
ferrarri 360 - awesome looks but again, heard horror stories about reliability and maintenance costs, disappointing approx 250 ft lbs torque
porsche 996tt: awesome value, 4 seats for occasional kid transport, bullet proof engine, but apr tuning only to about 500 hp.
porsche 997tt: 4 seats, bulletproof engine, apr tuning up to 700 ft. lbs torque, about 600 hp for only about $2,000.
I am leaning about 80% towards 997, 20% towards 996. like the 996 price but for $20k extra can get up to 700 ft.lbs torque on 997. disappointed with ferrari torque, disappointed with lambo value, $ vs engine output.
can't beat 996/997 value/performance/utility
I like apr tuning, can change engine maps in 10 seconds, have been runing apr for years, no issues
can run near stock for reliability and change engine map for max power when at track, etc.
what are your thoughts?

Three Wheelin'
I'm not sure an F car will do for a DD and you can't go wrong with any of the P cars you've mentioned. However, if you like the Italian marque, reliable F430 motor, looks, practicality of 4 seats, 450+hp and the horniest sound on the road today, then a Maserati is a great option. Just saying.

If true I'd go with the 997tt, though I could buy 2 996tt for the price they are going for. Though these days market for them seems to be going up. There are some guys making big hp out of the 996tt as well but they have after market turbos.
I've seen some tricked out 997tt's but none at 700lb of torque. There was a red techart one here that was only 500 when put on a 4 wheel dyno that RSR motorsports has. Not really that much more then the 996tt that was also on it and it only had the small turbos with a tune.

Lambo is an R8 and vice versa so probably pretty good as a daily. Rough ride though (the Gallardo not the R8).
