Default 13 991 cold won't start

I have a 13 C2 991. When the temp drops low like today and yesterday around 0 to 6 F my car will start no problem in the morning. But after I get to work in a hour or so it won't start. I try multiple times during morning and then in the afternoon around 2:30 pm it will start like nothing has been wrong. The temp has warmed slightly but yesterday it did this and the temp actually went lower. I am trying to get it started to take to dealer. Thought maybe the fuel was freezing, using Petro-Canada 94. I have added gas line anti freeze and it seems like it is not that. Anyone else have any problems in the cold?

Thanks
Bob

Doubt it is fuel freezing. Starting the car requires the brake pedal to be engaged. Could be a faulty switch. Try locking and unlocking the car again, maybe some sort of fuel cut off linked to the alarm system.

I tried locking and unlocking multiple times over the last four times it has done this. I am now waiting for Porsche roadside to flat tow it to Pfaff while it won't start. Hopefully they can solve it.

Could be the high pressure fuel pump, I am sure it's nothing to worry about plus your under warranty.

Engine will crank but not fire, really weird thing is it will do this over and over until right around 2 pm then it starts every time....?

It started at 2 pm yesterday and I drove it to Pfaff 140 klms away and they have it now.

Yesterday I called 1-800-PORSCHE, they had a hard time finding a provider local to me that can pick up my car??? They had to call me back and then they said 70 minutes!! After 90 minutes my car finally started (I tried every half hour from 10 am) called and cancelled roadside. I am glad I wasn't stuck in the middle of an intersection waiting for roadside. Oh well hopefully the car will act up when it is at Pfaff and they can find a fault with the car.

I hope it does have a code or whatever they need to solve.....I feel like an idiot as they don't have any other customers with same problem. Maybe I am the only one using my car as DD ?
