Need a track set-up guy
I want to make some changes to my car this year for track use. I'm looking for a good porsche track set-up garage that can offer good advise and help with the mods. I live downtown toronto but will drive for quality. I own a 997.2TT. Thanks.

what level of track use/preparation are you looking for?
might find a decent alignment and set of tires is enough

Because you have a newer car, I would go to Ilker at Sports Car Boutique. He drives the Downtown Porsche sponsored cup car, so he should know your car's set up well. And he has all the latest equipment.
Just curious, what do you feel needs to be improved in the car?

I'd query the options listed and ask the shop if they have setup any 997.2tt for the track. If so what suspensions were they with. A shop should keep a records of what they have done and what settings were done on them so they can easily get you set up with a known good setup.
I assume you have stock suspension and have very little room to play with settings. So I'd get a recommendation as to what you should change. The 997.2tt awd, and it's nannies are very dependent on a stock setup so I'd be leery about making those changes unless the shop guarantees that the've done many of similar type car and say that there will be no problems with what ever they do to yours.

Also, why do you think you need things changed?
Sorry, but we see guys here all the time that do one track day and now they think they need mods.
I would think that car would outperform all but the most experienced driver.

Agreed. I would add to this that you should take a copy of the alignment sheet that they print off for your car and keep track of it, and do the same for every subsequent one you get. Compare the 'before' and 'after' to your previous sheet every time you get a new one. This is the only way to accurately track what's happening in your car's alignment over time, and settings drift quite quickly in a car that sees track use.
