Trust me, I've got zero affiliation to this car. Thankfully.

The cars worth 300K minus the awful wrap.
He's worth Millions, he should donate half the sale to charity if he was trying to do something noble.

Am I missing something here, will it sell fast cause the guy from deadmouse owned it?
Old Porsches and Ferraris owned by Paul Newman and Steve McQueen fetch a high price tag cause they owned them. I'm scared if today's generation see DJ's in the same light and will pay a premium cause they owned a car.

I mean really. Owned by who? A celebrity producer, music guy from Niagara? Some of his fans don't even drive let alone have the funds.
Once the wrap is peeled off, it's just another used Ferrari 458 so I don't see the celebrity value in it.

Some of you guys sound like old curmudgeons . I wouldn't consider myself a fan of Deadmau5, but I do like a few of his songs. He is a pretty influential person in the electronic music scene though, so if someone wants to pay a premium for a car driven by him, what's the difference between that and a car driven by Paul Newman? To each his own...

I think the difference is that Newman & McQueen had a genuine involvement in auto racing an are icons.
Will anyone know who Deamau5 is in 20 years let alone 50.
Some who know the two you mentioned may no have even been born until after they died.
Not likely to be the case with Deadmau5

There is a HUGE difference in a car driven by Paul Newman or a guy that wears a mouse head helmet and pushes play on an ipod for a living.
I listen to just about anything, Deadmaus included so I have no problem with what he does. But I wouldn't care if he owned a car I wanted to purchase and the vast majority of people buying Ferrari's have never even heard of him. Maybe if he was selling a wrapped up Subaru BRZ it might command a 5K premium but not a 458.

Sidenote: I read somewhere that the wrap was meant to be for the Gumball rally; though, I didn't see him or the car in any of the coverage.
