What to do on a gloomy day? New 911
After a tumultuous year going through a divorce, which is finally settled, I decided that now was a good opportunity to do something for myself. I've also seen too many young people get sick over the last year and that has made me appreciate every day I wake up (whether it is good or bad) since you never know what life is going to throw at you...
I'm in a great place now. Have 2 great kids who live with me the majority of the time, a fulfilling and demanding career, a great girlfriend and I got to keep the house too .
I love my current 997.2 but the 991 has really grown on me and I wanted to make a move before the model stopped being NA.
So after a few days negotiating with Pfaff, I pulled the trigger on a 2015 Jet Black 991 4 GTS. Picking up on Tuesday before Canada Day. Pics to follow...

Congrats on becoming a free man again! I recall you bought the 09 997 with PDK so that your wife could drive. And she never drove it. I am guessing the new car is a manual?

Sorry to disappoint but I actually have really enjoyed the PDK so I stuck with it again this time. Never thought I would end up an "auto" guy after driving stick for 25 years, but 90% of my driving is in the city and rowing gears is just too painful an exercise thanks to the city's hate on for autos.

Recently drove the PDK and was impressed but since I have a company car as a DD my toy will always be manual Enjoy the new ride looks like a great package and congrats on getting the divorce all sorted out.
