Default Winter go-karting

Any interest in starting up the Rennlist winter go-karting we used to do a few years ago? I think we only did it 2 or 3 times, but it was a lot of fun. I'd be happy to organize a couple days in January, February and March if there's enough interest. Or not even organize, just pick a few dates and show up.

I am in.
GP Kartways will do a special day just for us if a certain number of people commit to it. I have the manager's email somewhere. Lets see the response here and we'll go from there. Chris, lets just pick a day in each month (like every 2nd Friday of the month) and stick to that.

Any interest in sim time? Can choose the car i.e.; radical or cup car.

Just asking.

I'd do karting... it's been a while but I used to do it a lot a couple years ago. I'd vote for electric karts because there's less of a penalty to driver weight and less discrepancies between engines in comparison to indoor gas karts.

I do remember there was a general consensus towards the electric. I've never done the gas-powered ones, but I understand they're faster. Personally, I'd like to try that, but either way I'm good.

Gas just stinks inside and gives you a headache
GPKARTWAYS electrics are nice and they have a lounge for food and booze if you want

Is gp the one at downsview? That's where we used to go. And yeah, the fumes are what a lot of people complained about, hence going to downsview.

The electric karts at GP Kartways have different speed levels. If we have enough people to book the entire track... hopefully they will set the cars to the fastest level... and then there's some good speed!

In in for Downsview. We did the gas karts once in Brampton and I had a headache for days. Gas bad, electric good.

I'm in. It sounds like a perfect way to scratch that winter driving itch.

When I saw this I thought it was in regards to this video! This would be pretty sweet if it became a winter thing to do.
