Hahaha... funny stuff
Just as an FYI, my 08 C4s has 130,000km on it, and is still on the original clutch, with absolutely no signs of any issues yet. If the clutch had been replaced at 34k on that car, as a Buyer, I would be concerned about how the car was driven.
You might want to educate yourself a bit about these cars before you continue your search, otherwise you are likely to receive more responses like the one above.

Is this the car?

Don't spend your money on an early 997 if the IMS bothers you and do a little research on these cars if you think the clutch needs to be done at ~30k. It's barely broken in.
To answer your question most 997 owners I've met are like this.. i.e. taking pride in keeping the car in great shape both mechanically and cosmetically. This owner was actually more polite with their response than I expect most guys on here would be lol..
Good luck on the search!

Race Car
So I was selling something on eBay and one guy was constantly emailing me to lower the price.
Long story short? I said your welcome to buy somewhere else and blocked him from bidding any further.
The vast majority if not all take extreme pride in their Porsche's.
(although he could use a new TEMP button) If they didn't, they'd be part of the ricer crowd.
It's not "are all Porsche owners like this"?
It's why are buyers like that?
This obviously this not the car for you. Move on.

I was selling my 1988 944Turbo.
A potential buyer wanted to know if my car had an air bag.
He was looking at a Carrado as well.
I suggested that if he did not know, then he should buy the Corrado with the air bag.
O/P - the owner took his car to someone that he trusts.
If you are concerned about an issue with the car, then you should take it to your shop, and pay a PPi.
The owner is offering information that he has been provided. If you need to know something, then you should research and pay for it. No car will be perfect, you're just trying to make the risk as palatable as possible.
