Got an e-test today on my '96...... and passed! Despite the spontaneous reappearance of my CEL

All emmissions values looked fine. Seems to be an occasional misfire on #1 on hot starts only

LOL - no, I threatened to though!
12 and 9 year olds in back with shepherd kinda curled between them. Wifey up front of course.
Had to pick up her car (Pathfinder) from shop and my Element beater needed gas and we didn't have time to stop.
In a pinch, it'll work - love it more everyday!!!
Treating it to new summer tires tomorrow at Simply - just in time for winter! (Needed new tires for safety certification though...here's hoping GTek goes easy on the car next week with all of it's customary oil leaks!)

Parked the C2 and Box S into their corner of the garage and hooked up the maintainers, air pressure boost for both and stabil in the tanks. All done for 2016.

Took my sweetheart out for a spirited ride. Will probably park her for the winter after next weekend. Temps still look good for a bit longer.

over last few days,
winterized dad's 996TT and got it into storage,
did oil change/brake flush/inspection on a 987,
got my '99 986 mostly reassembled(interior/dash in, cleaned and installed drivetrain, misc. stuff installed) , small stuff now..,
and most importantly, drove the GT2 hard

End of season oil change on the 986 accompanied by the relief of cutting apart the old oil filter and not finding anything metallic.

Yes, and no little chunks on the magnetic drain plug either!

Changed the oil, 50lbs in the tires, plunged in battery maintainer, put on cover and raised the lift. Will only see it from below till the first of April.
