Default Forward Facing Car Seat - 911

Good morning. I need to buy a forward facing car seat (seat to booster combo) for my soon to be 4 year old (back seat) that will go in our 2008 Turbo Coup. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks - Steve

Better to post this in the 911 tech forum.

My 4.5 year old is using a Bubble Bum booster in a 997.1. It slopes forward in the rear seat so you have to keep a close eye to ensure they're still positioned properly against the back.

Agreed. For a 4.5 yo a Bubble Bum booster works well and is the only thing I know that fits and what I use in the Porsche.

I've tried to get a Britax car seat and Recaro booster to work but they are too big to fit safely in the back IMO. They'd also be tough on the leather if you chose the front seat.

The Graco affix is on the more narrow side if you must go with a high back.

Best bet is to go to a large retailer like Kids R Us and see what will fit in the rear seat. A lot of seats have wide bases that are not a good fit. Models and designs change so the one I was using a few years ago I don't think is still available.

+1 jcnesq

That's what I did years ago. Left my driver's license at the counter and took a seat out to the 993 at the time. Made sure it fit, came back in and paid.

I use a Recaro Vivo in the 997TT for my 4.5 year old boy. Been using it for about a year.
