Please return my membership fee. After over 15 years here as a good member and contributor, I'm sadly and reluctantly done. Heavy handed moderator on a power trip deleted my for sale post with no warning for no good reason. Its caused me a problem in the middle of a ridiculously small but important transaction. Please refund the prorated fee.

I have been posting a lot less and understand a bit of what is going on. One Rennlist member threatened to kill me in a phone conversation last year. So yes, there are some crazies out there.

In spite of that, there is soooooo much that you have contributed to this forum.

Any way to re-consider?

Will be a shame to see him go. I apologized in his thread for my misunderstanding and expressed that it would be great if he'd reconsider and stay. There were a number of public positive comments to that apology but never saw him post again in that thread. I wasn't fond of his "uber rich moderator guy" reference as I don't feel I'm any more well-off than the majority of the folks here, but whatever.

Not sure what more to add.

His request for the refund was at the time of the delete incident. Has he requested it again since then or has he posted again since restoring his thread and the apologies? If so, maybe we wait until he requests the refund again before taking further action. Maybe after he cools down, it will be business as usual again and if he's still active on the forum, maybe that's what's happened.
