where to buy a 944 battery?
Greetings,
Anyone know where I can get a good battery for a 944? I had a canadian tire one but the fitment isn't great. Also had a kirkland one before but costco says they don't carry that specific battery anymore.
Thanks,
Nick

I bought my battery 2 years ago at interstate battery. It's refurbished. No issues even after sitting for long periods of time. They are in laval now I think. I paid $42. You need to exchange your old battery

Hey Phil,
Thanks again for the leg work! I ended up going with the eliminator battery from ct and the 4 year replacement warranty. Btw who are you using for parts if you don't mind my asking? I'm looking for some oil filters and engine mounts. P.s. Your pm box is full!
Thanks,
Nick

I usually end up buying my parts from lindsey racing or pelican parts and shipping them to Freeport forwarding to avoid brokerage fees.
Otherwise I'll go to canton auto. One of the guys that works there has a 944 too.
How much was the battery from Canadian tire in the end?

I know this thread is getting off topic but... If you haven't heard about Freeport forwarding when ordering parts from the US check it out.
It's a warehouse just across the border that charges about $3-5 per package. You ship it under your name to them and the keep it for you. Saves you from paying duties to UPS. Also shipping within the US is cheaper or even free.
I usually go ever couple months to pick up a bunch of packages.
