Hello,
I couldn't face removing the torque tube. (I'm doing this job with the car on axle stands)

as far as I can see into the tube there are only two bearings, and with the shaft disconnected it...

That's a very expensive 928 in this part of the world.
The guy probably tried to sell it locally and the best he would be offered would be about 10K US.

There are currently 2 GTS's for sale here...

Does anyone know what the diffeence between an A22.01 and an A22.04 auto gearbox are?

I have an .01 in my car, but I need to know if thee would be ay changes necessary to fit the .04??

Angry Mystery Vibration.

My car suddenly developed a wild vibration which occurs as soon as you start the engine. It happens in any gear and in park also.
If you rev the engine past 1500 go can actually see the engine...

I've had it two and a half years and sepnt about 10K$ on it, having done all the work myself.
Here in Dubai it's worth about 3K...

Good idea sharkskin but if I'm getting 50% fuel economy that must mean I'm losing 50% of my fuel. That would amount to quite a noticable puddle I think. I'll check again next time I take the car out...

I've got L Jet injection, same as a US but with no O2 sensor, and no evidence of ever having had one.

All the injectors have either been cleaned or replaced and the hoses and clamps are new...
