There is nothing inherently wrong with purchasing an upgraded 951. The issue the should concern you is the cost of repairs....

Regarding the creaking....my rear hatch drove me nuts until I sprayed a small amount of white lithium grease on the rubber under the brackets at the roof line. It's been quiet ever since.

With everything you've done, it seems there are 3 possibilities left: a non-functioning booster, brake pads or rotors. I don't have any idea how to test it, but proving the booster is functioning...
