You should probably check your trans mounts and your CV's before you start tearing into your trans. As far as pulling the trans apart if you ever intend to put it back together you'll need the FSM.

Why do 4 units? Each unit has 2 injector drivers so bare minimum each unit can control 2 injectors and there is some documentation out there on how to modify the unit to add in more injector...
