Also, the race supply companies have black tubing that does the same job as surgical tubing and looks nicer IMO. Some of the belts designed for endurance...

I find these discussions always depend on too many factors to give good advice to drivers I don't know well, but I can share that we got 4-5 heat cycles out of ours before they started to feel bad...

I've had Hooker belts and they don't compare in ease, fit, comfort to Schroth. The padding along the mid section makes them near impossible to cinch properly. 2" lap belts are a HUGE improvement...
