Weird the 918 part is a odd number.....618 is more common. My guess is a noise supressor for a radio unless you saw points inside.

So what exactly does the law say ? Your car will already do 160 MPH or so ! and has great brakes. How do they KNOW that any aftermarket set up is good or bad ? Do they KNOW what is on there now ?...

Dexron and Mercon were names made up and licensed by the AUTO makers. Oil companies can only use those NAMES if they PAY. The confusion is deliberate to benefit the auto maker and oil company license...

I had actually placed a bid on the first auction but it was rejected because of no paypal on that I D . I was not really interested but simply thought it should have been higher I think it was $7,000...

Find a good used S-4 engine with good compression and leak down with a guarantee...... Install a new timing belt , oil pan gasket , crank seals etc. have it stuffed in and try to put another 100,000...

Perhaps more to the point is what is it worth NOW with no engine , no block , and probably no crank ? That it has had Thrust Bearing Failure means automatic trans. An S-4 engine makes it a running...

If you use the S-4 crankshaft then you MUST use the S-4 rods and pistons and you end up with a 5 liter engine instead of the 5.4 ......

Look at the back side of the wheel and you will see the webbing between the spokes......simply remove the webbing :) it could be done carefully with a sawzall / jig saw and finished off with a file....
