We have ZERO information available for the car you are inquiring about. We did NOT build it, it's been in other shops hands ALL it's life, and I have not seen it in 8 years.

Its a matter of gear tooth design and size. The aftermarket gears have larger teeth (for strength) resulting in LOWER tooth counts for any given ratio and hence the slight additional noise.
