It kind of sounds like the bearing in the HVAC fan... the cabin temp sensor fan... I had one on my 87 S fail.

How about holding the pulley with a strap wrench, and then using an impact... Or heating with mapp gas torch (available at lowes) and holding with a chain wrench.. You will probbaly need a new oil...
