My dealer did the inspection on their own before listing the car. It was comprehensive and included compression and leakdown on the engine.

I confirmed with the dealer that it is a 48 month, 60k mile Porsche CPO warranty. Time and mileage start accruing when I pick up the car. I will drive it about 5000 miles per year. $5991 for 2014...

The Porsche dealer isn’t using Fidelity (I’m still waiting on details). I plugged my VIN and info into the Steingold Volvo link and got a $6421 quote (less $200 rennlist discount).

Porsche CPO Warranty Cheaper?

I’m buying a 2014 Carrera S w 38,000 miles from a Porsche dealer. The dealer did a full CPO inspection with compression/leakdown (passed) and did the full 40k service ($6700 for all inspections and...

Crank Position Sensor Stuck/Seized

I’m replacing a faulty CPS on a 2002 C4S. The CPS is stuck and won’t budge. I have been soaking it with PB Blaster for a couple days. Any suggestions on how to get it out?

Shop can’t get it in for 10 days. Is a 2002 Carrera 4S the same install as the video? I have a 4 post lift (mainly for storage) and this looks doable, assuming it’s not more difficult on a 2002 vs...

Just checking. I read other posts suggesting that an old/bad battery could throw strange codes and lead to other random issues. I had an old battery. I also read that a bad CPS leads to a rough...

Car won’t start after new battery

Somewhat misleading title maybe. My 2002 Carrera 4S has died a couple of times while I’m driving recently. It would restart immediately afterward (although sometimes it took a while to crank). The...

I think the shop did. I’ve been under there and didn’t see anything obvious. But the noise doesn’t change regardless if the car is in gear or coasting in neutral. What should I look for?

I have this same problem. My mechanic checked everything but didn’t find any problems. Like someone said previously, I seem to feel it in the steering wheel and even the clutch pedal for some reason.
