If the rear floor mats are wet, pull out the rear seat cushions and check for water under them. Buy some leatherique and slather it on the dash, seats, possibly the door panels as well.

Even without repairing the bolster, and application of leatherique on all the leather surfaces will work wonders for it. It can really help improve the curb appeal and doesn't take all that long.

I just plugged a "53" relay into the fog light socket. It works on the '85. Fog lights will remain on when the high beams are on, but otherwise it's fine.

I just tested this on my '85. Throw in the 53 Relay. The fog lights won't turn off when the high beams are turned on, but otherwise, it works as it should.

Your thread title says slow ignition, rough idle, and stalling. Are these the problems you're facing? Based on that description alone, I'd check the flexplate and crank end play.
