BTW, your mention of acetone & atf may be good, but the issue isn't just the rust. it's a combination of galling, pitting & annealing that will be your primary issue.

grrrmonster - let your son know that BK makes low profile mounting hardware for seats. it lowers the driver a LOT.

boxster is a GREAT track car.....especially with a 3.4L ;-)
