When I had these same symptoms, it was a bad fuel injector. Don’t bother sending them out for a “cleaning.” I bought a set of new old stock on eBay for around $150. Problem solved.

I use the Meguiars two step Clear Plastic cleaner then the polish. You can clean the inside by just removing the Phillips screws on the back and open the case. No need to remove the plastic lens.
