Wash down the whole underside of the engine and splash talk, corn starch or Wurth leak detector. Then run the engine for a shot while. You'll soon see where it starts to seep.

That was originally the Bridgestone RE11 and a fantastic tire.
While P7's are an original tire, and decent in the dry, they tend to aquaplane at relatively low speeds.

A 2.7l with nikasil cylinders and 9.8 compression pistons is a very sweet running engine. Anything above and you'll need twin plug. If you want more displacement get an aluminum block. More reliable....
