I bought Yokohamas because the Michelins were out of stock. The difference in cost was significant. I was pleasantly surprised that the perfomance wet and dry and wear turned out to be excellent.

That's incorrect. Manuals on a TT were last available on the 997.2. All 991TT were PDK. However the 992 is techncally a TT and it has manual available. For the time being.
