If I buy anything I think it will be an early car, maybe a 2.7RS rep or a genuine 2.4S. Something along those lines anyway. It won't be a monster bhp/torque car I just cannot trust myself with it....

Be vary wary mate. A proper left to right conversion would cost an awful lot of money. Make sure that you get it inspected by someone who knows what they are looking at.
