Just had that issue, turned out to be the voltage regulator failing which of course means changing the alternator since it is integrated into the alternator.
Solved the problem.

Very different driving experience in a positive and fun way.

I'd have to disagree, a lot, on the comment of no power gains with 200 cell cats. It is a very noticeable improvement aside from the more aggressive sound it gives.

Had both axles changed a few weeks ago with OEM. At 126000 miles.
Had a clunking sound (excessive backlash) when accelerating slowly, easing of gas pedal and then re-applying gas pedal.
All better...
