My 84 with about 2K on the clutch is almost impossible to stall and kicks in pretty early. Definitely look for a service record.

water pump & leak questions

There's a slight drip coming from the bottom of the belt area. I took the belt cover off and can't find any leak coming from the front of the water pump pulley, and there's certainly no leak coming...
