I have a tow eye bolted onto the rear suspension...

I have a tow eye bolted onto the rear suspension area (rennbay??). The last time the car did the ride of shame that was what he used.

Just put a set of Re71's on my car. So far I like them, only about 100 miles or so, but handling is night and day from what I had.
Car only sees dry weather, spirited driving. Stock 16 inch wheels....

I've done the clutch on a lift, and on jack stands.
The tricky part on the lift was going up and down several times to get at bolts on the top of the engine, and then getting the car up in the air...

On my 86 944 na, some CV bolts backed out, and I have lost a few of the metal plates that the bolts pass through on the CV joint closest to the transmission. Have not been under there to see how many...

Two thoughts - engine temp sensor...and/or bad wiring.
Had a similar problem thought it was the temp sensor, but turned out to be the wires in the boot for the temp sensor connector were shorting...
