Mass is actually not bad. It’s a local excise tax. After car is 10 years old, the value is fixed at 10% of original msrp, for life. Paying $116/year.

Mine also rattles. I tries to remove the cap from underneath with a screwdriver, bolt, clothes hanger. Nothing. Put them in a vise with padding... bent a bolt inside. I think it may be solid top....

the main benefit is that you only have to change...

the main benefit is that you only have to change 1 belt, and no special tools required (12 point to hold the shaft being the biggest PITA). All you need now is a 10mm socket to undo the pully.

no options. I ended up buying a new slave and swaping out the rubber boot.

+1 for switch. Had the same issue. I had an extra switch that was used for a garage remote. Swapped out the guts, and all works great.

Your mileage may vary...
