#2 hot start could be your fuel dampener, pull hose if theres fuel, it needs to be replaced.

battery at rest should read 12.6, running 13.8 or higher

Same as my rear wiper.....sometimes wipe twice, three times and sometimes it doesn't stop, I will have to turn the car off for it to stop.....its another mystery.

I have replaced the electrical switch , relay and fuse, no difference so i just bypass it. It maybe the metal linkage that turns the switch but its not a small job i heard.

On my 84...it was the fuel dampener, try pull that vacuum hose to see if fuel drips , if it does then it needs to be replaced.
