For changing the wheels - the crew loosens them...

For changing the wheels - the crew loosens them on the ground - jacks them up; removes them, puts on the new ones, tightens; then lowers. They use a wheel chock when alone to torque.

I have had the same problem - the pump whirrs, but no flow. We fuss with it in the pits and on the grid and eventually get it to flow, but it is always causing some stress messing with it for 5 mins...
