Looking for recommendations for Columbus OH body shop

My son and I are in the middle of restoring my '89 C4, we've got the front fenders off and now need to find a body shop that can do a repair of the drivers side windshield cowl area. I have a crack...

I have an '89 C4 that has needed restoration (and I had intended restoration) for 6 years. Finally, my son and I are embarking on the task. I dragged the car from Maryland to my son's house in...

Yes, this makes sense. The drawing in PET looks close, now I just have to figure how to get the broke piece off/out and a new one in.

What's this cable?

I've finally gotten time over the summer and fall to get my '89 C4 back on the road. After taking it for a few runs I noticed a wire hanging down near the right rear wheel. On closer inspection it is...

I think they've gone from Teutonic to Arthurian

(Remember Merlin "aged" backwards) We'll be going from 997 -> 991 -> 985 -> 979 -> ...

After 15 generations we'll be back at 901!!!

Interestingly,

Porsche Patter, the newsletter for the Chesapeake Region of the PCA, has an article in it about "Johnson Porsche of Annapolis" stating Saturday 8/9/2008 as opening day.

Johnson Porsche is also,...

I always refill while the engine is running.

Lets you check the level.

The overfull vent is in the tank, not the filler tube so there's no risk (or we'd all have oil in our intakes).

There are 2 parts

If you want the fully assembled fan (motor, mounting bracket, "squirrel cage") there are left and right assemblies 96457201501 (left) and 96457201601 (right).

It is cheaper to just purchase an...

I'm in the same boat

I'm looking at nice 2006 and 2007 S's with less that 10K on the clock, some with less than 5K! I appreciate the folks that bought new and then put it in the garage so I can get it for 60 or 70% of...

After you've put...

Count me in,

I'm about to pull the engine to do a complete refresh, so new covers would go nicely (put me down as a possible for uppers too).

They fit fine, and look great.

The only issue is rubbing if you've got an '89-91 without the appropriate stops in the...

DaveK,

What I like most about the 7200 RPM redline is that shifting at 7000 seems more natural. Maybe just the way I drive. With the 6800 redline I was constantly hitting the cutout. Now I almost...
