RS Ride height and where to measure?

Hello!
I am dealing with some bump steer measurement and need to set the front to original ride height 125 mm, but I don’t know were to measure, is it from ground to jack point?
(This is to day 95 mm with 1/2 tank and the bump steer is about 3 mm toe out with 2 cm compression,
and 5,7mm toe out with 3 cm compression.)


Rear is 218mm at control arm, suppose it is from ground to lowest point on control arm?

The front measuring point




from the workshop manuals...Measure the distance from the point of wheel/floor contact to the body end measuring surface on the outer arm mount. Some cars do not have this measuring surface. In such cases the cast boss on the rear axle arm must be used as a measuring point.

I cut a piece of plastic pipe right at the lower limit, and held that against the measurement point. I used a wedge to fill the space between the bottom of the pipe and the floor. I marked the wedge with height marks. Add the length of the pipe to the height of the wedge, and you get an accurate measurement every time. The manual says correct corner weight overrules height targets, but you can go by height if you don't have scales for the corner balance.

Just for reference, before I added Koni shock and Eibach springs, my car had funky ride measurements. From ground to fender li: LF 27 in, RF 26.75 in, LR 26 in, RR 25.75 in. My rear was lover than front. After new shocks and springs I had the car set to RS height, 1 degreee of rake, and corner balanced. New measurements: both fronts at 25.5, both rears at 25.75. Drives muuch better.

OP: I was going to hunt down a recent post of FlyinTomato's ride height gauge because I liked the tool he has shown. Should be easy to make and work well.

Did you also measure toe in on rebound , I mean if you stretch the suspension to 3cm ....?!
