Default Anyone want a running 84 944 for $1200?

I have a friend working at an police impound down the street selling a 84 944 that runs and drives for $1200. He said the body is straight, motor runs great, and the transmission shifts well. I don't need another car but thought someone who is looking for a 944 or something to build a spec car out of will probably want it. I can take some pictures and look it over if someone wants the car. Just buy me lunch when you pick up the car.

If it wasn't so far away I'd pick it up, hell yeah!

I paid $1600 for my 924S, except for paint and dashboard, she ain't
half bad.

Sometimes I wish I lived in Cali, but then I look at the current political climate. Seriously, that is a great deal and I wish I could take advantage of it. I also wish I could take advantage of all the cheap 914's that cant pass emissions!

Darn it -- my permanent job is in LA, but I'm assigned to Boston until June. Sounds like someone is going to get a deal!

Apparently California is the 944 capital of the world...my old 83 944 was from there...no wonder they go for so cheap

Anderson Motorworks might be interested in it. I applaud you at your restraint at not purchasing another car!
