Default Horsepower Farm Inc. Info

Does anyone have a link or info about the horsepower farm inc 951 that was at the 944 fest. Didnt get to make it out this year but saw the pics and am kicking myself that i couldn't make it. I was wondering if anyone had an engine bay photo. does the naca duct work and if so how( 968 turbo ducting parts???) any pics not posted would be appreciated.

Also what performance wise is done to the car.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Chad

I'm not exactly sure what he had under the hood...but he had an aftermarket exhaust (flowmaster) and is having Borla build a new one. He was also running 22 pounds of boost. I'm pretty sure he had a MAF and a different turbo...but what do I know, I'm still trying to figure out my N/A.

I think the issue is more getting the hot air out, not more cold in. The EVO's have it right on their hood design. Probably does help a little though.

Yup, it's Winslow's car and it's fast as hell. The duct lets air in on the pipe coming out of the intercooler, and also on the turbocharger. I don't remember what turbocharger he has in there right now, but I remember he wasn't thrilled with it and is planning to put a ball bearing turbo in.

Winslow will fill in the deatails himself I'm sure if he sees this thread, just keep it near the top.

he told me he was trying to cool the brake master cylinder and reservoir stuff. and told me and chris? that the springs were like 800? and no torsion bars, all coil overs. and what looked like a gt racing large fiberglass spoiler.

Just give it a little time, Winslow's got a bit of a drive to get back home. I'm sure once he gets back he'll take care of any questions.

I've seen 924s with that duct and similar vents. I think they were stock.

I'm not exactly sure what he had under the hood...but he had an aftermarket exhaust (flowmaster) and is having Borla build a new one.

The car has a Lindsey Racing exhaust with WG dump, etc.

that the springs were like 800? and no torsion bars,

500lb fronts 700 lb rears no t-bars and when we pushed on it, it was STIFF.

Very nice car, Winslow was great, answered numerous questions for me.

One of the membership benefits is Rennlist's ability to upload pics directly to the site. If you can find someone to host your pics (Or setup your own webpage and link to them), search for "Free website hosting" on Yahoo- there are many.

Great to meet you at 944Fest BTW!
