Default Advice needed : Turbo bumper on MY2004 996C2Cab

Hi All

I have a C2Cab due for delivery in December this year, and I'm trying to gather information on what I need to install the Turbo look bumper to this car.

Now, I'm looking at the C4S/911-40thSpecial front collection, and the bottom lip under the bumper is not aerodynamic as is the turbo's.

This is the C4S version that I think I need:

This is the Turbo version - note the bottom black lip goes right across the bumper:

Now, I think I need the following :

Front Bumper
Lower Lip
3 x Grills for behind the bumper
Then just painted and fitted by either an OPC or 3rd Party

Has anyone ever done this ? Do I need anything else ? I notice on the C4S diagrams that the lower lip is ducting air to the brakes, so maybe there's something missing ? Do I also have to have the side skirts to match ??

Looking forward to my first 911 !!

Many thanks all

G.

I believe you also need "eyebrows"..the little curved pieces that go between the bottom of the headlight assembly and the topof the bumper. In the assembly process you also will have to replace the stock bumper mount with a turbo bumper mount. The stock bumper mount is too long because of the wide turbo openings. They run about $250 or so. One other way is to have the stock bumper mount cut back on either side to duplicate the shorter turbo bumper mount. I don't believe that side skirts are needed except for cosmetic appearance. I can't comment on track use, however. You also should get the correct "duct work" with your turbo bumper. And lastly you might consider painting the black lip body color strictly for appearance. First 2 pics show diffence in stock and turbo bumper cover, last pic is the turbo nose on my 02 narrowbody Cab showing the body color painted lip.
