anyone interested in a running parts car?
I think I will try to get rid of it again...I'm thinking $700 for a running '83 944...I have driven it like 4 times in the last month, there is no point of holding on too it...
Let me know if there is any interest at all and I'll post pics...I would rather it be someone local but if you are really interested then I'm all for it...

Ok, heres the lowdown...
The odo reads 94K I believe...it did not work for about a year that I fixed it. The trip odo doesn't always work so the regular odo may be failing soon. The car will need shocks/struts all the way around. Has an oil leak that isn't "real" bad...The rear hatch doesn't open quite right. It has the imfamous "leaky" battery tray. Has a couple minor body rusts spots, nothing that can't be sanded out. It may need tie-rods on wheel bearings in the front. It runs pretty good, it does have a little hestitation sometimes (i think it is the fuel filter) I have one but I never changed it...It DOES HAVE the ICESHARK mod, build number TWO! So if you part it out you could sell that and a couple other things and you got your money back. The heater only works with a "special" switch that we "rigged"...

The clutch WAS replaced about two years ago. Slave and master cylender was replaced twice...I replaced the radiator, theromstat, thermo switch, upper hose, alternator belt, CV shafts,...the driver seat is NOT original...i replaced that last fall so it is in good shape...if i think of more i will add to the list...

i'd opt for the weekedn car...the biggest gripe i had with it being a daily driver is the frost on the inside from the battery tray leak, but that is a pretty easy fix
