Cool EVO MS Supercharger group buy?

Anyone interested?

I am toying with the idea... but if I can find some other fellow rennlist-ers... maybe it will get MORE interested...

Any takers? Email me directly, let's see how many we can gather...

When you try to nickle and dime a provider of products or services don't expect the support you would get if you gave the guy some profit.

I'm sure SMDBO1US is not out to "nickle & dime" anyone. Economies of scale benefit all parties...

Are you talking about "just" the unit (parts etc) or are you talking about price includes install etc?

I would imagine that each install has different characteristics and thus price?

Hi 1999Porsche911,

In this case specific case, I am interested on getting a "volume price" rather than the "list price" for the supercharger kit. Installs will have to be done locally to whoever buys the kit.

I could go out and buy my own kit and EVO would make profit on one kit or I could get 10 fellow rennlist-ers and EVO would probably make a little more money. Besides, EVO still has the last word if they want to do this volume buy or not... I am not and I could not press them to do it, right? So I doubt that I am "nickle & dime". I would rather say I am helping the economy and EVO's business...

As per the install, I would not try to bargain it. I rather pay big $$ for a correct install than having issues later...

Anyway, 1999Porsche911, you still have your EVO SC, right? Still loving it?

I am seriously considering at the moment and preparing myself mentally for it I know 6speed did a group buy last time and the price was quite reasonable.

What does the install cost? Any ideas?

I'm.... on the fence! But it might not take much to tip me in -- a nice discount might do it.

Hello all,

AWESOME. I did not expect that many responses!

So, I called and called EVO MS today to get details on this and I could not get through... maybe they are selling too many SC kits?

I sent them an email anyway and if I do not hear from them by tomorrow noon (CST), I will try calling them again. I will post an update as soon as I hear from them.

I am also trying to get my mechanic to tell me how much approx for the install. From what I have seen on the previous threads before, it ranges from 1,000 to 1,500. This obviously will be different based on your local mechanic's rates.

I forgot to mention this.

*I* would also be interested on getting:

EVO Bullet Flywheel and Sachs sport Clutch Kit Upgrade LEVEL 2
http://www.evoms.com/p%20996%20clutch.htm

So, I am asking that too to EVO MS. Let me know if you are interested too to see if we can get it bundled.
