Default Worth What? Factory Porsche Sport Seats - high bolster option

I have a nice pair of Porsche Factory Sport Seats which were an upgrade for the 951. Both are power and 8 way adjustable. I put up for sale a long time ago for $900 each. Didn't get any response.

These are so nice and pristine with only "slight" drivers wear on the 'hip' bolster. Black leather. Near Perfect!

If anyone knows what seats I am talking about and can better explain how much nicer they are over stock 951 seats, then please help me to know what these are worth?

I am wanting to get Sparco seats for race car conversion and will need to sell these, but I have no idea what they are worth. Everyone wants them though when they see them.

I can post pictures if email my driv200mph@aol.com account.

Thanks for the help.

eBay would be a good market indicator of what people are prepared to pay...

Sport seats are well sought-after, however in my experience there is a HUGE difference between "almost perfect" and "perfect". My advice would be to try to get them to "perfect" condition for a couple of hundred bucks and chances are you'll more than recoup it in the difference you'll fetch.

A couple of months ago I purhased a set of full leather sport seats with the full leather rear seat for $1200.
The seats aren't perfect but are in very good shape.

Andy, between 750-1100 pair, depends on who needs what.

MCW, that was a huge score. Late 968 seats are in great demand from the 993 guys, as they were the same seats. A set of those late seats just sold on ebay for $1200, which is a lot less than the 993 guys will pay for them.

What hurts these 951 seats is that only pre 993 guys are looking for them, and usually other 951 or 944 guys don't want to spend the $$ to buy them, even though they're great. (Had them, in full leather, full power, heated) in my old 944.

Keep em, unless you really need to sell them-you may own another 951 or 968 and will be kicking yourself a few years down the road.
